It has been confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay is fully prepared to embark on his political career. He made the announcement through his party, Tamilga Vetry Kazhagam (TVK), stating that #Thalapathy69 will be his final film in his acting career.

After a long wait, Thalapathy Vijay political journey has officially begun:

Vijay’s two films, Varisu and Leo, performed exceptionally well in 2023. Now, all eyes are on #Thalapathy68, also known as G.O.A.T. The official confirmation with an attractive poster has heightened the anticipation among Thalapathy Vijay fans.

Vijay is one of the top actors in the Tamil film industry, also known as Kollywood, and is affectionately called Thalapathy by his fans in South India. From working as a child artist to becoming a leading actor, Vijay has established a successful career and garnered a fan base worldwide.

1. G.O.A.T.

Release Date of The captivating poster for The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) has been unveiled for the 2023 film. This movie promises a grand-scale drama. The latest poster features Prabhu Deva, Vijay, Prashant, and Azmal holding guns.

2.  LEO 2

The director of the 2023 Tamil blockbuster Leo, LK, has confirmed that he will make a sequel to Leo after his film Kathi 2.

3.  Thalapathy69

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film tentatively titled Thalapathy69 is expected to be the superstar actor’s last film. There are speculations that, under Kalanidhi Maran’s Sun Pictures, Thalapathy69 will be Vijay’s biggest career film.

Vijay has showcased versatile talent in acting, dancing, action, romance, and thriller genres, making him the highest-paid actor in South India. Reportedly, he charged 100 crores for his action thriller film Beast, which was released in theatres on April 13.

Born on June 22, 1974, as Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, he is known by his stage name Vijay or Thalapathy. Despite coming from a film background with his experienced director-producer father S. A. Chandrasekhar and Karnataka singer Shoba Chandrasekhar as his mother, Vijay has carved his own identity.

After playing some supporting roles in the 80s, Thalapathy Vijay made his debut as the lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaiya Theerpu, directed by his father. His breakthrough came with Poove Unakkaga (1996), earning him critical acclaim for his powerful acting. Subsequently, films like Selva, Kaalamellam Kaathiruppen, Mersal, and Master established him as a unique talent, garnering a massive fan following both in India and abroad.
