The teaser release of the much-anticipated film Fighter, starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, has sparked excitement on the internet. Apart from the fantastic chemistry between the lead pair, what’s truly igniting fans’ enthusiasm is Hrithik’s astonishingly sculpted physique, an achievement that’s nothing short of extraordinary at the age of 50.

This remarkable transformation is a stark contrast to his significant presence in War and the lean avatar in Super 30. Fans and fitness enthusiasts are now wondering: What’s the secret behind this incredible physical transformation? In this article, we’ll delve into the rigorous workouts, balanced nutrition, and every intriguing aspect contributing to his extraordinary journey.

The Hrithik Roshan body transformation routine includes a combination of cardio and functional workouts.

In a recent interview with India Today, his fitness trainer, Chris Gethin, revealed that cardio sessions were included once or twice a day, tailored to specific phases of his transformation journey. Activities ranged from running and elliptical training to swimming and workouts on the StairMaster Rover.

In addition to that, his fitness routine incorporated activities like boxing, kettlebell workouts, battle ropes, and plyometrics, ensuring a holistic approach for desired results. Particularly noteworthy is Hrithik’s disciplined sleep schedule, with him going to bed by 9 PM, a practice considered challenging for many Indians.

Hrithik Roshan stuck to a dull and flavorless diet

Regarding his diet, Chris shared insights into Hrithik’s nutrition during the preparation for the film. The Dhoom 2 actor followed a bodybuilding-style diet, consuming approximately six to seven meals daily. His diet mainly consisted of lean protein sources like chicken, egg whites, and fish, along with complex carbohydrates from items like quinoa, rice, and sweet potatoes.

In instances where consuming solid foods posed a challenge, the actor opted for shakes, emphasising the importance of maintaining focus on whole food items. While the diet may seem austere, Hrithik’s chef, Shubham Vishwakarma, infused creativity by crafting dishes like an egg white burger, replacing traditional buns with fully cooked egg whites, and adding a touch of Indian flavour to otherwise ordinary meals.
