In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan created a buzz with ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawan.’ So, all eyes are on his third and final release of the year. The excitement is palpable, thanks to Shah Rukh’s current track record and the collaboration with blockbuster film producer Rajkumar Hirani for the first time. The teaser was released on November 2, Shah Rukh’s birthday, and since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next venture. According to sources, the wait is expected to end soon.
An insider shared with Bollywood Hungama, “If everything falls into place, the inaugural track from ‘Dunki’ is slated for release this week, with a target date of Monday, November 20. This date is significant as it is Rajkumar Hirani’s birthday. It will be interesting as the previous venture was launched on Shah Rukh’s birthday. So, launching a song on the celebrated filmmaker’s birthday is fitting.”
The source further mentioned, “While there could be a slight delay of a few days, the intention is to release the initial track from ‘Dunki’ within the coming week.”
When asked about the song, another source revealed, “It is clearly called ‘Loot-Toot.'”
Bollywood Hungama, among the first to report, informed that the two teasers of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Dunki’ were approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a ‘U’ certificate on November 3. Earlier, we reported that CBFC had approved four teasers of the film, with three receiving a ‘U/A’ certificate and one being passed with a ‘U’ certificate. Now, it remains to be seen when these teasers will be released, and if the trailer for ‘Donkey’ will also be unveiled.
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Dunki’ features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani. It is set to hit cinemas on December 21, 2023. It will clash with ‘Salar,’ starring Prabhas, which is scheduled to release on December 22, 2023.
